Today, Sony has expanded its lineup with two more smartphones – Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus. The new devices are positioned as compact and budget Android-devices aimed at the Indian market and which are ideally suited for the “Indian way of life” and “designed for the birth of a new Indian.”

Smartphone Sony Xperia R1 has an LCD-display resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a diagonal size of 5.2 inches, a Snapdragon 430 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory.
The device offers a 2620 mAh battery, a Type-C USB port, two sim cards. Front 8-megapixel camera, a 13-Megapixel main module and Android 7.0 Nougat software.
Speaking of the Sony Xperia R1 Plus, its characteristics are almost identical to the Xperia R1. And the difference is only in memory – 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory.
Both smartphones are available in only two colors: black and silver. For Sony Xperia R1 asked for a price tag of $ 215. And its Plus version is intended to be filed for $ 245. There is no information as to whether smartphones will go to other markets afterward.
